The Brief
In September 2024, CTEC completed the 10-week shell and core fit-out of a 295m² fitness and wellness facility.
Appointed as principal contractor, CTEC were responsible for delivering the entire project, which included two studios, two treatment rooms, a reception area, two WCs, one DDA-compliant toilet, and a storeroom.
The client’s vision was to create a modern, premium environment that was both functional and welcoming, with careful attention to detail in design and finish.
What we did
CTEC managed and executed a full range of trades across the project, including carpentry, drylining, plastering, screeding, electrical works, mechanical installations, HVAC, and fire alarm systems.
The HVAC package featured one heat recovery unit and two air conditioning units to maintain year-round comfort.
Lighting design was a key part of the project: feature lighting was installed to create a premium atmosphere, while recessed anti-glare downlights were used throughout to work within the restricted ceiling heights and ensure both function and comfort.
The outcome
The completed facility provides a high-quality, thoughtfully designed space that supports both fitness and wellbeing activities.
The combination of functional layouts, climate-controlled systems, and premium finishes has created an inviting and professional environment for users.
Delivered on programme, the project showcases CTEC’s expertise in managing complex fit-outs and delivering spaces that meet both client ambitions and practical requirements.
